M - F 8am to 3pm
 

This summer's programs will be sponsored by BCM, Family Center on O'Keefe Street, and the Ravenswood Youth Athletic Association. The following programs will be offered:

Summer Adventures In Learning (SAIL) [Full Day Option M-F] is an intensive six-week academic program with a student/teacher ratio of 4:1. Each morning students receive individualized academic instruction. During the afternoons, students will participate in special interest workshops including sports, art, dance, and music.

Summer Adventures In Learning (SAIL) [Afternoons Only M-Th] Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of special interest classes including sports, art, dance and music.

Highlights

  • Students increased their reading comprehension by an average of 75% of a grade level.
  • 70% of students demonstrated improvement of at least 10% in two different math skills.
  • Tutors took the opportunity to visit the homes of many of the students.

If you like to work with elementary school children, we have a spot for you! We are looking for lunch providers, drivers, pull-out reading tutors, teacher mentors, and workshop leaders!
